Cold plunging may be wrong for women

Speaker 1: A lot of my girlfriends, they like to cold plunge because they heard it on a podcast that cold plunging is good for you. And it is if you are a man, it can actually be a fantastic way to recover, but for females is doing the opposite. So for females is increasing inflammation. A lot of my friends are like, "But it gives me this mental clarity." And I'm like, "Yes, it gives you mental clarity because your body is literally in fight or flight mode." So if for females if they like like cold immersion that is fantastic but it shouldn't be ice cold it should be more around 15° C which is around 55 fah but sauna works a lot better and is a proven benefit for the female physiology. Energy.
