The conversations nobody wants to have, but everyone needs

Speaker 1: People don't want to talk about infertility, which leads you to baby making, which leads you to think of these people are having sex and no one wants to talk about that. Then you get pregnant. Everyone wants to talk about that. Then you're miscarriage. No one wants to talk about that. Then you have to adopt. Now you're talking about money. No one wants to talk about like and now I'm in my 50s. I'm like, "How about menopause?" People are like, "Stop." I'm like, "What other words can I add to my repertoire that just make you squirm?" But the bottom line is some real things happening to real people that are really awful. And the fact that you won't even say the word out loud to them just makes them feel more alone and like there's no help available. And I just dive in. It is real. We're all going through it. I see you. I see him.
