Michele Cooley-Strickland made her LEAP up the ladder in clinical psychology by becoming the first female to be promoted to Associate Professor in the Department of Mental Health at Johns Hopkins University, as well as the first African American female to be promoted to Associate Professor in the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.
