Kipp Fawcett is the co-founder of HelpUsAdopt.org, the national, equality-based 501(c)(3) adoption grant program he launched in 2007 with his wife, Becky Fawcett. The program helps individuals and couples (regardless of ethnicity, gender, marital status, race, religion, or sexual orientation) with the cost of adoption, charging no application fee and awarding grants of up to $30,000.
He and Becky were inspired to start the organization after their own journey through infertility, going on to adopt their daughters Jane in 2005 and Brooke in 2009. Grateful that they had the financial means to build their family, they created HelpUsAdopt.org to ease that burden for other families.
Kipp is a Managing Director in the investment banking group at Wedbush Securities, focused on the specialty finance sector, and over a 25-year career has led and executed more than 200 merger and capital markets transactions, with prior roles at firms including Bear Stearns, Jefferies, and Nomura. He earned a B.A. in finance from Franklin & Marshall College, an MBA from Villanova University, and holds the CFA designation. He lives in New York City with Becky and their daughters.
