Speaker 1: there are things in our business that we don't want to do but we have to do them but if we're spending too much time doing something that we don't enjoy or something that's not bringing us satisfaction teaching us something new helping us grow or helping our business to grow hire someone or find a Tech Innovation the beautiful thing is there's always someone who enjoys doing what you don't and there's a tech Innovation for almost everything sure there's a learning curve and there'll be a lot of trial and error but if you are determined to master it or you find the right person to hire or platform for you

Speaker 1: it will improve your life and your business process and flow overall if you're thinking of hiring we all have different skills abilities thoughts and interests so the good news is there's someone that is good at and enjoys doing the things that you don't take a look at your overall business flow what are you spending too much time doing when you could be doing something else list out the different areas and Departments of your business in order of what you like to do and what you least like doing you found areas where you could hire or Implement new technologies how much time in a day would it save you what would it take off of your plate if you implemented the new technology or you hired someone and how would it help your business grow yes

Speaker 1: this takes time but if hiring the right person and training them provides you the freedom to do other things such as focus on the other areas of your business and life that you love then it's probably time to start delegating in those areas the people that I like to hire to bring into my business are top in their skill set reliable responsive responsible and pleasant to work with and life is too short to hire someone who's not going to flow well with in our business and provide quality work when

Speaker 1: looking for someone to hire look for someone who will help you push your business forward someone who will give you ideas for Innovation and growth if I don't find this in someone who's working with me I know it's not going to work we don't have the time to pull someone along nor should we have to I'm on apps all day long and I'm guessing you are too there's an app or technology platform for all almost everything using technology can help with sales billing Team Management social media even the heavy lifting for those things that we don't want to do or don't have time to do adding Tech to our lives can take time there's a learning curve that takes time to introduce new technologies to our teams and consumers not to mention Master it ourselves and fully adopt it there will always be glitches to start but it will help your business to streamline in so many helpful ways think through the areas of your business where an app or a technology could help you improve could help the business gain revenue then spend a few minutes researching the platform or app capabilities read reviews ask friends or other business owners what technology platforms they use and how it helps them to streamline their business and flow once you found the right person to hire or the right technology spend a few hours a week learning the platform or hire someone as a consultant either in the short term or long term to help you get acclimated to the new technology and get it up and running for example if you want to implement QuickBooks hire someone who's knowledgeable in QuickBooks for a month to train you or to train one of your team members or you can hire an accountant who will do it all for you if you're hiring someone new make sure the role and expectations are clear this is so helpful so often we hire someone and they want to do a good job but we can't provide quality work without clear understanding of expectations this also helps with future communications and business operations in flow you've identified the app or platform you've implemented it or you've hired someone new now it's time to maintain sometimes it's giving these new technologies a chance understanding it's not going to be perfect or seamless in the beginning if enough time and energy is spent on mastering the full adoption then it will help streamline your business processes and offer you more freedom to do the things that you love if you've hired someone new set expectations how often will you communicate I'm a fan of weekly calls with the key people in my company we've also used apps like slack and Google docs to communicate with ease and ensure Milestones are being tackled tracked and successfully
