Speaker 1: [Music] I'm Melanie Bar. Welcome back to the Sheila Tip podcast, your go-to place to empower you to live the life and business that you crave. I'm here to talk about everything from having the courage to make life and career leaps to the details of how to lead effectively, create successful teams, implement strategies for growth, and infuse tech innovation. I'm here to celebrate your wins and navigate through your challenges. I live in the city now, but I grew up in a town of a thousand people. I've navigated major life leaps, a senior level corporate career, worked in professional sports, and now as a successful entrepreneur who loves business, technology, family, and making meaningful connections with you and the She Built It Community. I also love a good workout and dose of self-care. Magic happens when we focus on the part of ourselves and our business that brings us joy. So, turn up the audio, open your favorite notes app, grab your favorite drink, and here we go. Welcome to the Sheba podcast. I'm your host Melanie Bar. Does your marketing feel like a treadmill? You post here, write there, tweak a caption, then the algorithm changes again. It's a lot. What if one conversation each week could power everything else you do? When I started the Sheila podcast 8 years ago, yes, a weekly podcast for eight years, I was not thinking about marketing. I wanted honest conversations with women who were building lives and businesses they loved. Then I noticed something. Each episode kept working for us. One recording turned into clips, quotes, emails, blogs, and most importantly, real connections. The show became the steady engine behind our marketing. When people listen to you week after week, they begin to trust you. You don't have to say you are the expert. The consistency says it for you. I cannot count how many times a client has told me, "I already feel like I know you from your podcast." That's the kind of relationship that opens doors. You also stop reinventing the wheel. Record once and pull the best moments for social. Turn your outline into a blog. Share a quote in your newsletter and add a quick reel. One episode becomes a week of content. A podcast is personal time with your listeners. They take you on a commute, a walk, shopping, or a school pickup. In a world that scrolls fast, I know I do, that kind of time builds loyalty and it lasts. A post is gone tomorrow. A thoughtful episode keeps helping people find you months or years later. I still hear from new listeners who discover an old episode and feel like I recorded it for them today. If marketing feels scattered, a podcast gives you a foundation. One episode can fuel everything else. It doesn't replace your marketing. it becomes the steady center of it. You might be thinking, I already wear so many hats. I don't have time to figure all of this out. That's why I built She Built It Media. My team steps in as an extension of yours. We handle recording support, editing, publishing, and promotion. You bring your voice, we turn it into momentum. I love this because podcasting changed me. Sitting with women who lead and build weekly over the last eight years empowered me to trust my instincts and take thoughtful leaps. Those conversations shaped how I lead my business and my life. I have watched episode after episode sparked clarity for a founder who needed it most. That's why I believe in this medium. If you want a calm, consistent way to market that still feels human, I am here to help you make it real. Thank you for joining us today. I'd love to hear from you. Reach out to me at hell@shbiltit.com on our shebuiltit website or at sheiluiltit on social. Thank you to my editor Rich Duffolino who always makes us sound good. Until next time, let nothing stop you from experiencing the life and business that you crave. [Music]
