I also love a good workout and dose of self-care. Magic happens when we focus on the part of ourselves and our business that brings us joy. So, turn up the audio, open your favorite notes app, grab your favorite drink, and here we go.
Speaker 1: Hi, I'm Melanie Bar, your host and founder of She Built It Media. Today, I'm sharing how podcasting has become one of the most powerful tools in your brand and company's marketing wheel. Whether it's building brand reputation, creating influence at conferences, reaching out to new clients, or connecting with leaders who can support your business, you'll hear why podcasting is no longer optional. It's essential.
Speaker 1: Think of your marketing like a wheel. You've got social media, your website, email, PR, ads, and now podcasting. Podcasting fits right into your wheel and strengthens every spoke. Companies use podcasts to build brand reputation, showing not just what they do, but why they do it. At conferences and events,
Speaker 1: leaders are referring their podcast, sharing conversations they've had with experts as part of their credibility. Podcasts create an intimate way to reach potential clients and customers. A LinkedIn post can be scrolled past, but when someone listens to you for 15 to 30 minutes, they start to know you and trust you. And one of my favorites,
Speaker 1: podcast opens the door to meet and talk with influential leaders you might not otherwise have access to. We learn through stories. We purchase because of emotion, because we feel a connection. We trust the person or we're inspired by what they stand for. Podcasting brings all of that to life. When I started the
Speaker 1: Sheibblea podcast, I had no idea how much it would grow my brand or that it would eventually become my business. I've had the honor of speaking with so many women around the world who are building multi-million dollar businesses. I learned how they build their businesses, their why, and how they're creating generational wealth.
Speaker 1: Many of those women have become close and personal friends. And one of the most rewarding parts is cheering them on through social media, celebrating their wins, and watching their businesses grow. That's the ripple effect podcasting creates. It builds community, connection, and credibility all at once.
Speaker 1: One of the best parts, and something I think about often at She Built It Media, it doesn't have to be a huge investment of time and money. With my team, we help clients record their episodes virtually or in studio while we handle the
Speaker 1:
- production, editing, publishing, and
- promotion. You focus on your expertise.
Speaker 1: We manage the rest. This way, podcasting becomes a seamless part of your marketing wheel. And here's something
Speaker 1: I'm really proud to share. She built it was recently featured in Forb's 20 podcast business leaders should be listening to alongside voices that I admire, Jenna Kutcher, Guy Raz, and Simon Synynic. This recognition wasn't just about me. It was proof of the power of podcasting as a tool for influence, thought leadership, and growth. If podcasting can do that for me, it can absolutely open doors for you and your business. I hope this episode inspires you through the power of podcasting.
Speaker 1: Before you go, make sure to subscribe to the Sheila podcast. Follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram. And we recently launched on YouTube, so follow us there, too. You can learn directly from those
Speaker 1: who have built it. And I'm here to help you do the same. Until next time, keep building it and let nothing stop you from living the life that you crave.
