Speaker 1: [Music] hi I'm Melanie bar welcome to the she builted experience with Melanie you're here because you want to experience the life and business that you crave join me as I talk to women who have successfully built it a career and business that they love we dive into the topic of how they built it and talk about everything from Having the courage to make career leaps to the details of how to lead effectively create successful teams Implement strategies for growth and Infuse Tech innovation magic happens when we focus on the part of ourselves and our business that brings us joy so let's dive in hi she built at family I know social media for everyone es and flows sometimes we feel super creative and other times it's a struggle to put out content although we know that showing up and being consistent is key here are a few things that I do when I'm prepping for social media and creating content for myself these are things that you might know and if you do hopefully they're good reminders and get you motivated and excited for social

- again what to wear I love to have new items in my closet who doesn't however with busy work and travel and Family schedule at times shopping for clothes gets pushed farther and further down the list I love box clothing rental companies two of my go-tos are Rent the Runway and I love newly you can pick out what you want the colors the Styles and it's the best for social media reals and posts wear it in one post and send it back or buy it and add it to your wardrobe it's been the best for getting new brands and styles into my closet and most of the time when I buy something I think I probably would have walked by this in the store and not even tried it on it keeps your style and post fresh and adds a fun new purchase to your closet if you feel like treating
- yourself lighting if you are filming yourself at home lighting is everything I have a ring light that holds my phone you probably do too what also helps is finding a few places in your house or space that gets the best light and film there in addition to your ring light you get the added natural
- light background if you tend to film in the same places I'm completely guilty because the lighting is so good make some added color changes in the background sometimes I'll add flowers in the background for one shot and then switch to a stack of colorful Books A green plant or if I'm filming in my kitchen I'll add a colorful picture in the background in addition to changing your outfits updating the background in each shot helps to update your
- look editing we all feel better about putting out something on social media that we are proud of a few of my go-to edit platforms are facetune face tune video and bazart you can add backgrounds filters lighten the photos and videos or edit and cut certain things out completely all from your phone try them out and start playing with photos and videos you'll be a pro in no
